Syracuse, New York – Christopher Community, Inc. has announced the promotions of Sara Jaouen and James Branck to new senior-level positions.
Sara Jaouen has been named Director of Property Management and James Branck has been named Director of Quality & Compliance.

Sara Jaouen, Director of Property Management
As Director of Property Management, Jaouen will provide oversight, management and guidance to the Property Management portfolio at Christopher Community.
Jaouen worked for seven years at the organization as a property manager, before taking a position as the Director of Public Housing for the Rochester Housing Authority. She rejoined Christopher Community in 2019 as Regional Property Manager and was most recently a Senior Regional Property Manager before her promotion.
She maintains over 17 years of affordable housing/real estate experience, and holds a Bachelors Degree from Ithaca College in Sociology, with a concentration in Gender Studies, and minors in Art and Writing.
Jaouen resides in Rochester and has two children and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, and enjoys anything fitness related. She has run in marathons, ultra-marathons, and worked as a fitness instructor for six years at a local YMCA.
James Branck, Director of Quality & Compliance
James Branck has been with Christopher Community, Inc. since 2010, and was most recently a Senior Regional Property Manager.
In his new role, Branck will be responsible for overseeing the regulatory compliance across Christopher Community’s entire property management portfolio.
Prior to joining the organization Branck was Quality Control Coordinator and Team leader at CGI. Inc. as well as a Management Assessment Specialist with NY
Quadel Consulting.
Branck resides in Cicero and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Public Management from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
He enjoys spending time with family and friends and mountain biking.
